The Foundation of Our Mission
The story of the Good Samaritan is found in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 10:25–37). It tells of a man traveling from Jericho to Jerusalem who was attacked by robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and left him half dead on the roadside. A priest passed by. Then a Levite also came and saw the man; both chose to walk away. But when a Samaritan came upon him, everything changed. Moved by compassion, he did not ignore the suffering. Instead, he stopped, went near, and took responsibility for the wounded man’s life—demonstrating that true faith is expressed through action, mercy, and sacrifice.
Our Model
This story is not symbolic alone—it is operational guidance. The Samaritan demonstrated six practical steps that define a real humanitarian response:
- He noticed and approached
→ We identify marginalized and vulnerable communities that others overlook. - He treated the wounds (First Aid)
→ We provide immediate relief, medical assistance, and emergency care. - He carried him (Transportation)
→ We ensure access to safety, healthcare, and essential services. - He took him to an inn (Restoration)
→ We support long-term recovery and reintegration into society. - He paid for his care (Funding)
→ We mobilize resources to sustain healing and dignity. - He committed to return (Follow-up)
→ We ensure continuity, accountability, and lasting impact.
What we do?
We design and deliver education programs that empower individuals, raise awareness, and build stronger communities. Through training, workshops, and outreach initiatives, we equip people with the knowledge and confidence to create lasting change.
“Go and Do Likewise” — Our Mission
After sharing this story, Jesus gave a clear command:
“Go and do likewise.”
This command defines the mission of Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation. We exist to translate compassion into action—serving those affected by poverty, injustice, and marginalization, while advancing dignity, hope, and transformation.

The story of the Good Samaritan gives a clear picture of God’s desire for us to help those in desperate need wherever we find them. After describing how the Samaritan rescued a hurting man whom others had passed by, Jesus told His hearers, “Go and do likewise.” That is the mission of Samaritan’s Fellowship—to follow the example of Christ by helping those in need. This has been part of our DNA since 2015; we have provided aid to thousands of people affected by natural disasters and manmade crises. Learn more
