Legal Status & Governance
- The organization is incorporated with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) under Section 42 of the Companies Act, 2017.
- The Foundation holds a valid license for nonprofit operations and is registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) for tax compliance and exemption purposes.
- Governance is exercised through a Board of Directors, comprising professionals from diverse sectors. All board members serve in an honorary capacity, and the board meets quarterly in accordance with our internal governance charter.
- The Foundation’s Memorandum and Articles of Association outline the purpose, structure, and operational scope of the organization.
Financial Accountability
- All financial records are maintained according to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Independent, third-party external audits are conducted annually by a registered chartered accountant firm.
- Financial statements, including balance sheets, income & expenditure statements, and cash flow summaries, are made publicly available below.
- The organization operates under a segregated fund system, ensuring that restricted grants and donations are tracked and utilized according to the donor’s instructions.
Program Monitoring & Evaluation
- All major programs are subject to Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) systems that track outputs, outcomes, and impact.
- Performance reports are compiled annually, reflecting program reach, target vs achievement metrics, challenges encountered, and lessons learned.
- Data is collected from field offices, implementing partners, and beneficiary feedback mechanisms.
