Faisal Yaqoob is a dedicated social justice advocate and civil society activist, committed to advancing democratic empowerment and rights for marginalized communities and religious minorities. As the Founder, CEO, and elected President of Samaritan’s Fellowship Foundation (SFF), he works tirelessly to build grassroots capacity through sustainable livelihood development, civic education, and rights-based advocacy.
With over a decade of experience in both nonprofit leadership and the corporate sector, Faisal combines practical expertise with a deep passion for social change. Before founding SFF, he served as Executive Business Manager and Managing Director at The Salvation Army Pakistan. He held the position of Vice President at Crescent Technologies, where he honed his skills in IT and business management.
Faisal believes that democratic empowerment is the key to lasting progress for Pakistan’s minority communities. Through his leadership at SFF, he fosters inclusive, locally driven initiatives that equip marginalized groups with the tools and knowledge to participate in democratic processes actively and claim their rights.
His work aligns closely with the values of global democratic institutions such as the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), focusing on pluralism, inclusion, and human dignity. Faisal is committed to strengthening civil society networks, promoting interfaith harmony, and amplifying the voices of those often overlooked.
