Afshan Faisal is a dedicated human rights advocate with a deep commitment to democratic empowerment, minority rights, and grassroots leadership. With years of experience in the civil society sector, she has actively led and mobilized community-based groups, empowering them to participate meaningfully in civic and democratic processes.

As a skilled trainer and facilitator, Afshan has designed and delivered numerous capacity-building programs focusing on civic education, social justice, and leadership development—especially for underrepresented groups. Her work aims to equip individuals and communities with the tools, awareness, and confidence needed to advocate for their rights and contribute to a more just and inclusive society.

She is also deeply involved in interfaith initiatives and peacebuilding efforts that promote dialogue, understanding, and social cohesion. Afshan’s collaborative approach and strategic thinking continue to strengthen the impact of nonprofit and rights-based networks across Pakistan.
